Sono uscite questo pomeriggio le nomination dei 60esimi Grammy Awards, l’evento musicale più importante dell’industria musicale internazionale, che andranno in onda su CBS dal Madison Square Garden di New York City il 28 gennaio.
A tenere la guida delle nomination con ben 8 candidature è Jay-Z, che con l’album 4:44, si aggiudiche le categorie più prestigiose come: Album dell’anno, registrazione dell’anno per The story of O.J. e canzone dell’anno per 4:44.
Bruno Mars, invece, dopo aver sbancato agli American Music Awards, si aggiudica ben sei nomintion tra cui Album dell’anno con 24K Magic, registrazione dell’anno con il brano title-track e canzone dell’anno con That’s what I like.
Altro nome ad essersi aggiudicato un manciata di nomination è quello di Kendrick Lamar che ha ottenuto precisamente sette nomination, comprese con Damn quella per l’Album dell’anno e Miglior album rap e con Humble quella per la registrazione dell’anno
Non poteva di certo mancare Ed Sheeran che, straordinariamente, non si aggiudica la nomination per Record of the Year.
Tra gli esclusi avrebbero sicuramente meritato anche Katy Perry, Selena Gomez e, dopo la prima nomination dell’anno scorso come Best Pop Vocal Album, molti credevano anche in una seconda nomination per Demi Lovato.
